Dr Shri is one of our GPs at Village Health with a specialty in weight-loss management. With her special interest in Obesity medicine, her goal is to work with you, and achieve a healthy weight by providing an evidence-based and individualized approach to weight management.
Initial appointment
During your initial 60 minute appointment Shri will get a detailed understanding of your weight journey, your physical and mental health conditions, and any previous treatments you have trialed. She will also explore the treatment options that would suit you.

Based on the individual health complexities, sometimes a longer appointment may be required to provide an optimal weight management plan. If this is the case, Shri will let you know during your first visit.

The cost of the initial 60 minute consult is $300.00 with follow-up consultations 15 minutes at $75. 00
Initial appointments require a questionnaire to be completed before your initial appointment. Please click here for the questionnaire. Once completed, return the completed questionnaire to reception@villagehealth.net.nz.
A food journal of 1 week should be completed in time for your initial appointment. Click here for your food journal.

The Team
She works alongside a team consisting of a Dietitian, a Health Improvement Practitioner, a Health Coach and an Exercise Consultant.
Every individual seeking weight loss management will be advised to see our Dietitian, Chui S. Sang. She will get an in-depth understanding of your lifestyle and provide you with a plan to achieve weight loss.

Initial consultation with Chui, will be 45 minutes long and costs $149, Follow up consultations cost $99.00 and are 30 minutes long.
With any weight loss trying to minimise the loss of lean body mass is important. To achieve this, it is very important to have an exercise plan.
​
Sarah Mosley will be able to guide you through an exercise plan that works for you to help maintain muscle mass while losing excess body weight.
