Negative Pressure Ventilation
Our PIP (Potentially Infectious Persons) Clinic:
This specially designed clinic includes negative pressure ventilation, reducing the risk of airborne transmission, and our doctors wear full PPE during your consultation. The clinic opens directly to the carpark, so there’s no need to walk through the main building. You will be called straight into our warm, purpose-built space when it’s your turn.
When to visit PIP Clinic

Patients are usually triaged into the PIP Clinic by our nurses or reception team for an afternoon appointment.

If you’re assessed as more unwell, you’ll be seen earlier in the day in in our acute infectious space behind the ambulance bay.

Infectious Triage Service
Accessing our services is both straightforward and highly convenient. Our services are available for anyone visiting or living in Christchurch & Rolleston. You do not need to be enrolled to access our PIP Clinic. This is a walk-in service only. Contact us at your closest clinic Lincoln Rd or Rolleston for assessment.
Open 5 Days per week
Visit our Infectious Appointments are available at 30 Lincoln Rd, Christchurch or 35 Masefield Dr, Rolleston. Open 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Before you visit
If you are not enrolled with Village Health, please fill in the casual patient form online before you visit for a smoother arrival. You will be required to pay the cost of your consultation, prior to seeing the clinician. You will need to request and retain your invoice/receipt and consultation notes if claiming against your travel insurance.
