GENERAL PRACTITIONER -Lincoln Road, Spreydon
Village Health Lincoln Road is looking for a GP to join our team on a maternity leave contract, 4-8/10ths employed or contractor.
This is an opportunity to step into a well-established patient base within a supportive, forward-thinking practice, with scope to incorporate special interests such as skin cancer medicine, musculo-skeletal injections, women's or men's health or ADHD care (to name a few).
About the Role
You’ll be providing high-quality, patient-centered general practice care, with the option to develop as area of special interest.

Continuity-based general practice with a diverse patient population

GP-Special Interest in Skin Cancer Medicine - Lincoln Road
Village Health Lincoln Road is growing — and we’re excited to be launching a focused Skin Cancer Clinic within our practice.
We’re looking for a GP with a special interest in skin cancer medicine and minor surgery to help lead and shape this service.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to work within an exciting dedicated skin clinic, with a focus on:

Full body skin cancer checks and dermoscopy-based skin scanning

Diagnosis and management of skin lesions

Minor surgical procedures, including excisions and biopsies
-
Patient education and preventative skin health
You’ll play a key role in building a high-quality, patient-centred service within a well-supported and forward-thinking general practice.
About You
-
Vocationally registered GP (or equivalent)
-
Strong interest in skin cancer medicine and minor surgery
-
Ideally holds (or is working towards) the Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy through the Skin Cancer College Australasia
-
Confident in dermoscopy and procedural work (or keen to develop these skills further)

Enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment

Dermatology nurse - Lincoln Road
Are you a skilled nurse who enjoys procedural work, patient education, and being part of a growing service that makes a real difference?
Village Health is expanding our skin and dermatology services and we’re looking for an experienced Dermatology / Skin Cancer Nurse to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a modern, supportive primary care environment where high-quality clinical care, innovation, and patient experience are all highly valued.
About the role
This is a specialist nursing role focused on skin assessment, skin cancer detection, procedural support, and patient follow-up.
You’ll be involved in:

Nurse-led skin checks and lesion documentation
-
Dermoscopy-assisted skin assessment (training supported if needed)
-
Cryotherapy treatment
-
Assisting with punch biopsies, shave biopsies, and skin cancer excisions
-
Wound care and follow-up
-
Coordinating skin procedure bookings and pathology tracking
-
Educating patients about sun safety, skin cancer prevention, and self-monitoring
This role offers a great mix of hands-on clinical work, patient interaction, and service development.
About you
You will be:

A Registered Nurse with current NZ APC
-
Confident in procedural nursing and sterile technique
-
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
-
Warm, calm, and excellent with patients
-
Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with clinicians
Ideally you’ll also have:

Experience in dermatology, skin cancer, minor surgery, or primary care
-
Dermoscopy experience (or enthusiasm to learn)

Strong wound care skills
