Cancellation, DNA & Late Policy

Want to Cancel your appointment?

Please give at least 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel your appointment. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before appointment time may incur a fee.

If you do not let us know you want to cancel and you don't arrive for your appointment, you will incur a fee.

Please CALL us on 03 338 8595 if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Although we utilise email, text and Manage My Health to communicate at times, these are not acceptable methods of contact to cancel an appointment.

Zero Tolerance Policy

We treat our patients with courtesy and ask the same in return. We ask that you treat your GP and ALL Practice Staff courteously - without violence, abuse or harassment. Our staff have the right to care for others without fear of being attacked or abused. Any behaviour, verbal or physical, which causes staff to feel uncomfortable, embarrassed or threatened is totally unacceptable. This Zero Tolerance Policy includes aggression, or threats made in person, over the telephone

15 Minute GP Appointments

One Issue Per Appointment General Practitioners cannot see large numbers of patients with multiple problems and continue to practice safely and effectively. This also causes doctors to run late. Please discuss with reception if you need a longer appointment. Be aware a second same day appointment does NOT carry a government subsidy. You will be charged at the full unsubsidised fee.
